What happened

Turf Masters Brands, a residential lawn care company based in Roswell, Georgia, has acquired 4-Evergreen, LLC, a lawn care company in Jackson, Tennessee. The deal closed October 9, 2026, and Turf Masters Brands announced it on November 2. 4-Evergreen serves West Tennessee and Southeast Missouri from offices in Jackson and Dyersburg, Tennessee, and Kennett, Missouri. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The seller

Scott Riley founded 4-Evergreen in 2001. Before that, he worked part-time in sales for a national lawn care company while finishing college. The business started as Riley and one truck and now runs a team of trained staff and a fleet of trucks. It is licensed, bonded, and insured in Tennessee and Missouri.

The company sells homeowners fertilization and weed control, aeration, tree and shrub care, and outdoor pest and mosquito control. In Missouri, it serves Kennett and Caruthersville in the Bootheel. 4-Evergreen holds a 4.8-star rating across more than 1,300 Google reviews.

"This business has been a huge part of my life, so finding the right people to carry it forward was very important to me," Riley said in the announcement. "I believe Turf Masters Brands is a great fit."

The three 4-Evergreen offices are now among Turf Masters Brands' locations, under the 4evergreen Lawn Service name.

The buyer

Turf Masters Brands took its current form in December 2025. Wind Point Partners, a Chicago investor in route-based technician services platforms, acquired it then and combined it with ExperiGreen Lawn Care, which Wind Point already owned. Constitution Capital, which shared ownership of ExperiGreen with Wind Point, also took part. The merged company took the Turf Masters Brands name, and ExperiGreen CEO Luis Orbegoso became its chief executive. At the combination, it had more than 1,800 employees and nearly 400,000 residential customers across 16 states and two Canadian provinces. Former TruGreen CEO David Alexander is one of its two board co-chairs.

Wind Point said at the time that Turf Masters Brands would invest in technology and customer service "while preserving the local brands customers know and trust." Its branches run under local names such as Fairway Green, Cardinal Lawns, and ExperiGreen. Its other Tennessee branch is in Nashville. In Missouri, it also operates Loyalty Lawn Care in St. Charles and Green Envy in Maryland Heights.

Turf Masters Brands announced two other acquisitions in the weeks before this one: Quality First Lawn & Shrub Care in Orlando, Florida, on September 15, and Turf Guys in Lake Zurich, Illinois, on October 22. Turf Masters Brands describes 4-Evergreen as its expansion into West Tennessee and Southeast Missouri.

"4-Evergreen has earned the trust of homeowners across West Tennessee and the Missouri Bootheel, and that reputation speaks for itself," Orbegoso said. "They have built a team and a culture centered on customer satisfaction, which is exactly what we look for in a partner."

What this means for lawn care owners

For lawn care owners whose routes run through smaller cities rather than a major metro, this deal shows a multi-state platform reaching a region where it had no office by acquiring the company that already served it. The owner of the established local name in a region a platform does not yet cover holds what this buyer acquired here, and our guide on selling a lawn care business to private equity covers what that conversation involves.
