Kian Capital Partners and Integrity Landscape

What happened

Kian Capital Partners, a lower-middle-market private investment firm, announced on October 8, 2026, that it has acquired Integrity Landscape, a commercial landscaping company headquartered in Morgan Hill, California, with five branches in the San Francisco Bay Area. The deal, a control buyout, closed on June 9, 2026. CEO Raitis Raisian and the regional leadership team continue to run the company, and founder Rich Bronstein stays on as, in his words, "a meaningful investor and board member alongside Kian and Raitis." Financial terms were not disclosed.

The seller

Bronstein founded Integrity in 2016, and it now runs three brands. Medallion Landscape handles exterior maintenance, enhancements, tree care, and irrigation, and has served the Bay Area for more than 25 years. CityLeaf handles interior work: plant design and maintenance, living and moss walls, and holiday décor. Serpico Landscaping, a Hayward company that provides exterior landscaping mainly to homeowners associations, joined in October 2025, when Integrity acquired it. Together they employ 385+ people and sell recurring maintenance and enhancement work to large HOAs, high-end multifamily properties, Class-A commercial buildings, corporate campuses, and healthcare facilities.

The Serpico deal also shows who owned Integrity before Kian. At that point it was a portfolio company of Galaxi Group, where Bronstein is managing principal. Seacoast Capital, a non-control growth investor, provided redeemable preferred stock to support the purchase, and White Oak Global Advisors provided unitranche notes.

"Since joining Integrity, I have focused on building a process-driven organization and empowering our talented team to deliver high-quality service to our loyal customers," Raisian said.

The buyer

Kian manages $1.1 billion of capital and invests in founder- and owner-operated businesses in essential services and value-added distribution. Principal David Hare said the firm has "established a multi-year thematic focus on the commercial landscaping sector given the highly recurring revenue model and significant market fragmentation." Co-founder and managing partner Kevin McCarthy pointed to Kian's "experience in the route-based services sector."

Kian's announcement names the markets it is backing Integrity to enter: "broader Northern California, Southern California, Arizona and Nevada." Integrity is also seeking partnerships with operators of exterior and interior commercial landscaping across the Western U.S.

Kian's other landscaping platform

Integrity is not Kian's only landscaping company, and it sits in a different part of the market from the other. In December 2021, Kian bought control of Diamond Landscaping, a Los Angeles-based provider of landscaping to high-end residential customers. Between then and February 2026, Diamond made seven acquisitions, including Arizona Outdoor Designs in the Scottsdale area in November 2025, its first in Arizona, and Christensen Landscape Services in Connecticut. Hare is on Kian's team at both companies. Kian's portfolio therefore already includes a landscaping business in Arizona, one of the four markets named for Integrity, on the residential side. Each company looks for add-ons in its own segment: Diamond in luxury residential, Integrity in commercial. What this means for commercial landscaping owners

Integrity was a buyer before it was bought: it took in Serpico a year ago, and under Kian it is looking for more. For a grounds maintenance contractor or an interior plantscape company in the region, that search makes Integrity a prospective buyer as well as a competitor, and Serpico, an HOA maintenance company now run alongside Medallion and CityLeaf, shows the kind of business it has already absorbed. Integrity's own sale is a working example of founder terms with this buyer: Kian took control, the CEO stayed, and the founder kept a stake and a board seat. Owners weighing how much rollover equity to keep in their own sale can ask Kian how that arrangement worked for Bronstein.
