Living Colour Landscapes Joins Raise Landscaping's Six-Brand Platform

What happened

Living Colour Landscapes, a landscape design, installation, and maintenance company in Lake Worth, Florida, is one of six local brands that make up Raise Landscaping, which Lawn & Landscape reported on September 29, 2026, has become a platform company for South Florida landscapers. The other five are Mystic Gardens Lawn Contractors, Everglades Environmental Care, GRC Services, Power Group Care, and Reef Landscaping.

Together the six divisions employ more than 400 people across four locations and care for more than 1,000 clients. The coverage presented Raise as a platform for the brands and did not say how each one came into the group. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company

Living Colour works from Lake Worth across Palm Beach and Broward counties. Custom design and installation is its signature work: its designers work with homeowners, builders, and developers, and the company handles permitting, schematic design, HOA submittals, and inspections. A licensed irrigation department, landscape maintenance, tree service, and landscape lighting are all run in-house. Its clients are high-end residences, HOAs, golf courses, and commercial properties, among them Addison Reserve and Pine Tree Village.

Elouise Botha, originally from Pretoria, South Africa, bought the company in 2014 after a career in IT. "I was lucky to find a company with knowledgeable, loyal staff that have truly become family," she said in a 2021 profile. In 2024, Living Colour placed No. 46 on the Fortune Best Small Workplaces list compiled by Great Place To Work.

Living Colour now operates as a division of Raise. Luis Castellanos, Raise's director of operations, is its interim general manager.

The partner

Raise Landscaping is a commercial landscaping company serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and the Florida Keys. It pitches itself to premier commercial and institutional properties, and its clients include communities and HOAs, hospitality and healthcare properties, golf and private clubs, retail centers, and municipalities. Founder and CEO Martin Katz previously executed 35 acquisitions at Crete Mechanical.

Liberty Partners, a New York investment firm, features Raise Landscaping Group in its portfolio, and Liberty principal Dan Bochner serves as a Raise board observer.

Raise keeps each division's crews, leaders, and client relationships in place and adds the equipment, systems, and storm-season capacity of a larger company, Lawn & Landscape reported. "We built Raise by bringing together teams South Florida already trusts, and giving them the resources to deliver that standard on every property, every visit," Katz said.

Living Colour is one of two Raise brands in Palm Beach. The other, Power Group Care, runs family-led commercial crews on large-scale properties there. In Miami-Dade, Everglades Environmental Care has spent thirty years serving commercial properties, universities, HOAs, and public agencies. Each of the other five brands is headed by its own president or general manager.

What this means for landscaping owners

Living Colour brings a design-and-installation practice built on estates, HOAs, and golf communities into a platform that pitches itself to commercial and institutional properties. Raise's launch coverage says local leaders stay in place, and Living Colour is the one brand of the six whose top seat is held on an interim basis by a member of Raise's own operations team.
