Mystic Gardens Lawn Contractors Joins Raise Landscaping Platform

What happened

Mystic Gardens Lawn Contractors, a Hialeah-based landscaping company serving Miami-Dade County, is one of six local brands in Raise Landscaping, which Lawn & Landscape reported on September 29, 2026, had debuted as a platform company for South Florida landscaping businesses. The other five are Everglades Environmental Care, GRC Services, Living Colour Landscapes, Power Group Care, and Reef Landscaping. The coverage describes Raise as a platform for the six brands and does not say whether any of them was acquired.

According to Lawn & Landscape, Raise keeps each division's crews, leaders, and client relationships in place rather than replacing the local names, and adds the equipment, systems, and storm-season capacity of a larger company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company

Mystic Gardens has cared for South Florida properties for more than 20 years and has served more than 300 of them. Its own crews handle landscape maintenance, design and installation, tree and palm work, and irrigation for HOAs and master-planned communities, hotel and resort grounds, medical campuses, and private homes. Miami is its largest market, Hialeah is where it handles municipal and agency grounds, and in Miami Beach it cares for oceanfront condominium communities and hotel grounds.

The company now calls itself a division of Raise Landscaping and says what changed is deeper equipment and real storm response. It is hiring account managers across Miami-Dade. Antonio Torres is its general manager. Florida records show the operating company, Mystic Gardens Lawn Contractors, LLC, is a Delaware entity registered in the state in March 2024, with MG Parent LLC listed as its member.

The partner

Raise Landscaping is a commercial landscaping company serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and the Florida Keys, led by founder and CEO Martin Katz. Lawn & Landscape reports that its divisions together employ more than 400 people across four locations and care for more than 1,000 clients, including communities and HOAs, hospitality and healthcare properties, golf and private clubs, retail centers, and municipalities.

Mystic Gardens is one of Raise's two Miami-Dade brands. The other, Everglades Environmental Care, has served commercial properties, universities, HOAs, and public agencies for 30 years. GRC Services covers Broward, Living Colour Landscapes and Power Group Care cover Palm Beach, and Reef Landscaping works in the Keys. Each division has its own president or general manager on Raise's leadership team.

Raise is backed by Liberty Partners, a New York private equity firm that features Raise in its portfolio; Liberty principal Dan Bochner is a board observer at Raise. Katz previously served as vice president of business development at Crete Mechanical, an HVAC, electrical, and plumbing company, and Liberty credits him with executing 35 acquisitions there.

"We built Raise by bringing together teams South Florida already trusts, and giving them the resources to deliver that standard on every property, every visit," Katz said.

What this means for landscaping owners

Because each Raise brand kept its local name, an owner in the region may already be competing with a private equity-backed platform without a new name ever appearing on the job site.
