Landscape Workshop Buys Palm Atlantic Eight Weeks After 4-Ever-Green

What happened

Landscape Workshop announced on June 12, 2026 that it had acquired Palm Atlantic Landscape Maintenance, a commercial landscape maintenance company based in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The company said the deal expands its presence in Fort Lauderdale and the greater South Florida region. Palm Atlantic owner Bob Bollon has joined Landscape Workshop as a senior account manager, and all Palm Atlantic employees are joining the company. Stuart Maxey, Butler Sparks and Ben Glicklich of Bradley Arant served as legal counsel to Landscape Workshop, and Alan Raines of Raines Legal represented Palm Atlantic. The announcement did not include financial terms.

The seller

Palm Atlantic has been family owned and operated since 1989. "We've had this business in our family for many years," Bollon said in the announcement. Its core is landscape maintenance for commercial properties and homeowners associations, with certified arborist, irrigation, installation, and pest control and fertilization work alongside it, plus land clearing and disaster restoration. The company calls itself South Florida's fastest-growing commercial landscape company.

Its accounts run long. Judith Prine, president of the Wildwood HOA, says Palm Atlantic has handled landscaping, irrigation and tree trimming at the association's Deer Creek property for more than 10 years, and credits Robert Bollon with meeting homeowners directly when they raise a concern.

The buyer

Landscape Workshop is a commercial landscape company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, and backed by Ares Management Corporation. As of August 2026, it operates from more than 50 locations across 16 states, from Maryland and Virginia south to Florida and west to Texas and Utah.

Chief executive J.T. Price tied the deal to the market: "South Florida continues to be a key focus for us, and partnering with Palm Atlantic strengthens our presence in Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding communities." Of the seller, he said Bollon and his family "have built a strong business with loyal customers and employees committed to high-quality work."

Two Fort Lauderdale deals, eight weeks apart

Palm Atlantic comes eight weeks after Landscape Workshop acquired 4-Ever-Green Lawn Care R.K.P. on April 17, 2026, a deal Price also said strengthened the company's presence "in Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding communities." Between the two, it bought Landcrafters, a Tampa commercial maintenance company, on May 11.

The two Fort Lauderdale sellers did not come out of their deals in the same seat. 4-Ever-Green owners Marc Rynar and Rick Lewis continue in leadership roles, supporting operations and client relationships across South Florida. What this means for South Florida landscaping owners

A commercial or HOA maintenance contractor in the Fort Lauderdale area has now watched the same buyer close two deals in its market inside one spring, and hand the two sets of owners different roles afterward. For a family business whose customers, like Wildwood's board, know the owner by name and expect him to pick up the phone, the owner's role after closing also decides who those customers hear from once the sale is done. That makes it a term to settle in the letter of intent, before exclusivity, rather than after closing.
