Palm Beach's Power Group Care Joins Raise Landscaping Platform

What happened

Raise Landscaping, a commercial landscaping company serving Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties and the Florida Keys, has become a platform company for six South Florida landscaping brands, Lawn & Landscape reported on September 29, 2026. Power Group Care, a commercial landscape and irrigation contractor based in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, is one of them. The other five are Mystic Gardens Lawn Contractors, Everglades Environmental Care, GRC Services, Living Colour Landscapes, and Reef Landscaping. The announcement said the six brands are part of the group and did not say whether Raise acquired them or took a stake. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company

Power Group Total Care LLC, which operates as Power Group Care, is a commercial landscaping and landscape design company that takes on large-scale projects for commercial properties, gated communities, and high-end residential developments across the Palm Beaches. Its work runs in four lines, all handled by its own crews: landscape maintenance, installations and enhancements, irrigation, and tree and palm care. Irrigation is its specialty, particularly smart systems built on weather-responsive controllers and soil-moisture sensors.

The company is family-led, with bilingual crews, and it works for property managers, HOAs, and developers. It reports more than 30 commercial clients and more than 50 properties under recurring maintenance across Palm Beach County. Pedro G. Tarazona is president of Power Group Care, and he now sits on Raise's leadership team in that role. Power Group Care now operates as a division of Raise Landscaping.

The partner

Raise is a portfolio company of Liberty Partners, a New York City private equity firm, and Liberty principal Dan Bochner is a board observer at Raise. Founder and CEO Martin Katz previously executed 35 acquisitions over three years as vice president of business development at Crete Mechanical, an HVAC, electrical, and plumbing company. Raise's divisions together employ more than 400 people across four locations and care for more than 1,000 clients, among them communities and HOAs, hospitality and healthcare properties, golf and private clubs, retail centers, and municipalities.

Raise does not replace the local names. Each division keeps its crews, leaders, and client relationships, and Raise adds the equipment, systems, and storm-season capacity of a larger company. Its local division presidents include Steve Mazzarella at Everglades Environmental Care and Danny Goldstein at GRC Services.

What this means for landscaping owners

Power Group Care kept its name and its president when it joined Raise. For a family-led contractor whose customers are HOAs, property managers, and developers, that leaves unchanged the people those customers deal with on every visit. Living Colour Landscapes also joined as a Palm Beach division, so Raise now runs two local brands in the county, and a commercial landscaping owner nearby competes with a platform already working alongside them.
