American Service Partners launched on October 7, 2026, as a national residential home services platform, and A-One Refrigeration of Washington's Tri-Cities is the first anchor brand its announcement names. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida, company was formed by acquiring brands from Platform Partner Holdings (PPH) and Air Today Holdings (ATH). An institutional capital raise sponsored by Exuma Capital Partners led the launch, and the transaction also delivered an outcome for investors in ATH.
The platform brings together residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical brands from Seattle to Miami and San Diego to Boston. The announcement names two other anchor brands: John Stevenson Plumbing, Heating & Air, a San Diego family business since 1990, and Howze Plumbing, a Dallas–Fort Worth plumbing name since 1995. Financial terms of the acquisitions and the capital raise were not disclosed.
A-One is an HVAC and electrical contractor based in Pasco, Washington, and now operates as A-One Air. It serves Pasco, Kennewick, Richland, and surrounding communities out to Walla Walla and Yakima. The company traces its start to 1980, when Al and Carol Hagen opened it as a commercial refrigeration business. It grew into residential heating and cooling, then electrical work, and later invested in home-efficiency diagnostics such as blower door and duct leakage testing. The Hagens' son, Kyle Hagen, now runs the company.
Its work today spans heating and cooling installation and repair, electrical panels and repair, plumbing, and indoor air quality, with 24/7 emergency service. A-One is a Lennox Premier dealer.
Exuma Capital Partners is an operator-first private equity firm based in South Florida that invests in technology, real estate, food and beverage, and home services. "We're pleased to have sponsored the institutional capital behind American Service Partners," said Anthony Perera, its founder and managing partner. "Landon and his operators lead this platform, and access to institutional capital lets them build what local brands can't build alone."
Landon Brewer, the platform's chief executive, has also led PPH since 2022. PPH is a management consulting company that brings executive leadership, shared services, and performance management to independently owned home services businesses, and its wider network continues to operate alongside the new platform. Brewer previously held roles with American Residential Services, Legacy Service Partners, and Clockwork Home Services. He also scaled Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing ahead of its acquisition by Cortec Group.
"Traditional buy-and-flip and buy-and-build private equity has faced headwinds in home services, and that has opened a real opportunity," Brewer said. "This isn't an ordinary roll-up. We partner with brands that already have strong names, loyal customers and great teams, and they stay focused on their people and their customers."
American Service Partners reports 22 operating companies. It describes its model as taking a majority stake while the owner keeps the brand, the team, and a share of the equity for a later sale.
A regional reputation is what this buyer says it is building on, which puts a long-established family shop outside the big metros inside its buyer set. For an owner whose company is known by name in its market, that recognition is the asset a platform of this kind is set up to keep.
