Priority Courier Experts Acquires INPAX, Expanding Into the Southeast

What happened

Priority Courier Experts (PCE), a Minneapolis same-day delivery company, announced on August 27, 2026 that it had acquired INPAX Shipping Solutions, an Atlanta courier, parcel delivery and freight company. The acquisition extends PCE into Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The seller

Leonard Wright founded the company in Atlanta in 2000 as RoadOne Express, with $40 and a cargo van. He took it through the 2008 to 2010 downturn and renamed it INPAX as the economy recovered, and he completed three acquisitions along the way. INPAX began as an expedited courier and later moved into freight, and until this sale Wright still owned and ran it.

The company works in seven Southern markets, among them Atlanta, Charlotte and Raleigh. It has 75 employees and more than 335 independent-contractor drivers, and it completes more than 400,000 orders a year. Its work covers final-mile parcel and ecommerce delivery, on-demand courier runs, healthcare logistics, distribution and brokerage, as well as LTL and full-truckload freight.

The buyer

Brothers Steve and Jim Cossack founded PCE in January 1997 with three vans. It provides same-day and next-day B2B delivery across Minnesota and the upper Midwest, including on-demand, dedicated and routed work and fleet outsourcing, for healthcare, industrial and ecommerce customers. Trident Management, a New York private equity firm that buys U.S. small businesses, announced an investment in PCE in August 2023, partnering with Bluejay Capital, a transportation and logistics investment firm, as operating partner. Mark Cossack is chief executive.

INPAX was the third company PCE announced buying that week. On August 25 it announced Priority Dispatch, founded in Cincinnati in 1973, and Diamond Expedited, which has served the Chicago area since 1995. Both were bought from the same owner, and together they serve markets from Cincinnati and Columbus to Detroit, Chicago and Milwaukee. In December 2024, PCE announced its acquisition of Now Courier of Indianapolis.

PCE's other recent acquisitions were all Midwest businesses. INPAX is the one that took it into the Southeast.
