ACACIA Exterior Building Group launched on October 29, 2026, and announced a strategic investment in Bel-Mac Roofing, a Northwest Florida roofing contractor, and Seashore Construction. The two Santa Rosa Beach companies are joining forces under the Bel-Mac name. Existing local leadership remains in place, and customers keep working with the teams they know. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Bel-Mac was founded in 1995 and provides roofing and building envelope work throughout Northwest Florida and the Gulf Coast. It has offices in Santa Rosa Beach and Pensacola, and William Bell Jr. is its president. Travis Bell of Bel-Mac called it "a family business in more ways than one," adding that "it has been a staple of this community since 1995."
Seashore Construction was founded in 2005 by Brian Connell and Alex Kish and does exterior building restoration and general commercial construction. The combined Bel-Mac adds Seashore's waterproofing, concrete repair, and exterior restoration to Bel-Mac's roofing. It also offers coatings, cladding and siding, and structural and framing work.
Kish described the move as "an exciting new chapter for both companies." He said that "combining our experience and expertise in commercial roofing and building envelope restoration with the resources and support of our new platform" builds "a stronger, more collaborative team."
ACACIA is based in Alexandria, Virginia, and invests in established roofing and exterior building businesses. Its investment partner is RCap Equity, an affiliate of Renovus Capital Partners. Renovus manages more than $2 billion across its sector-focused funds and other strategies.
Cagen Williams is ACACIA's chief executive. "Northwest Florida is home to me," Williams said. "I know these communities and understand what these companies have meant to the people they serve."
ACACIA's other business is Northeast Contracting Corp. (NECC), a commercial roofing and building envelope contractor with offices in Alexandria and Portsmouth, Virginia. RCap Equity Partners led an equity recapitalization of NECC in September 2024, alongside Monroe Capital and existing shareholders, Roofing Contractor reported. In August 2025, NECC acquired Ducks Roofing, a Portsmouth contractor locally operated since 1976, which is now NECC's Hampton Roads branch. Williams was NECC's chief executive at the time. NECC serves Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and the broader Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, and it continues under its own name. For roofing owners, the unit an investor backs need not be the roofing company alone. A roofer and the restoration contractor it is already tied to can be backed as one business, with the roofer's name carrying the combined company. An owner with a close tie to a specialty contractor holds something that can come along in the same deal, and the brand the owner built does not have to give way to the investor's.
