Solvane Group, in partnership with EagleView Technologies co-founder David Carlson, has completed an asset acquisition of the Evolve Restoration platform, a storm damage restoration and roofing operator that trades as Evolve Construction & Restoration. The deal was made through Evolve Restoration, LLC, and closed the week it was announced in May 2026. Evolve operates from offices in Sherman Oaks, California, and Naples, Florida.
Evolve now sits alongside Restore Medics USA, which Solvane rolled up earlier, in a combined group headquartered in Dallas. Together they cover storm damage, roofing, and fire, smoke, water and mold remediation, and the announcement said a new unified brand for the combined platform was expected within weeks.
The transaction was valued at $50 million. Terms beyond that headline purchase price were not disclosed.
Evolve does residential and commercial roofing and insurance-claim restoration, from storm, hail, water and fire damage to mold remediation, with siding, gutters, windows and remodeling alongside. The company is HAAG and IICRC certified.
The platform brings more than 7,500 completed projects across 35+ markets in the United States, Canada and Australia. It runs on what the announcement calls a proprietary Market Partner model, "a structured framework for scaling residential and commercial restoration services through aligned local operators," which will continue uninterrupted under the new ownership.
Jay Zaabri founded Evolve Holdings and served as chairman of Evolve Construction & Restoration. In March 2026, Evolve announced an expansion into Kansas and Missouri in a release that set the company against private-equity-backed roofing platforms and described it as privately owned. "Kansas and Missouri homeowners deserve better than what Wall Street has given them," Zaabri said then. "We are not a fund."
Solvane Group describes itself as a holding company that builds, scales and acquires home-service businesses on one operating system, and it is headquartered in Dallas. It calls Evolve the platform's founding brand. Its leadership includes Zaabri; Carlson, listed as a partner in Evolve Restoration; and Matt Irvin and Justin Reichel of RestoreMasters, a commercial roofing company Solvane acquired in June 2026, a month after the Evolve deal.
Carlson is a U.S. military veteran who co-founded EagleView, the aerial roof measurement company that Vista Equity Partners acquired in a transaction valued at over $750 million. He remains involved as an operator and investor in the combined platform. "We see a generational opportunity to build a unified national platform with the systems, capital, and field capability to lead through the next decade. The Evolve Restoration platform — combined with Restore Medics — gives us the geographic reach, vertical breadth, and proven unit economics to accelerate that vision," he said.
The announcement lists three investment priorities for the new ownership: field technology and data systems, standardized estimating and project management across markets, and "continued strategic acquisition of high-quality regional operators that meet the platform's underwriting and integration standards."
With Evolve's founder in Solvane's leadership and a single media contact named for both companies, the $50 million is a figure the two sides announced together, for a platform moving into a group its founder helps lead, with an EagleView co-founder alongside as partner.
The structure is the more useful part for an owner. A founder-built roofing and restoration business sold its operating assets into a holding company, kept its local-operator model running, and now shares an owner with fire, water and mold remediation work. Owners comparing a structure like this with a sale to a private-equity platform can read our guide on selling a roofing business to private equity. For a restoration-capable roofer approached by a group like Solvane, the first things to pin down are whether the offer is for assets, as Evolve's was, and what role the owner keeps once the deal closes.
