Tambr Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Pressure Point Roofing

What happened

Tambr Partners, a New York City-based family office, acquired a majority interest in Pressure Point Roofing (PPR), a commercial and residential roofing contractor based in Central Point, Oregon. The deal was announced on February 27, 2026. Tambr made the acquisition through its holding company, Pacific Northwest Roofing Services. The announcement did not include a purchase price.

The seller

David Judd founded Pressure Point Roofing in 1989. Matt Stone first joined in 1995 in sales, left, and came back in 1999 to run a crew for Judd, moving into sales and then management before buying the company from him. Brian Fisher later became a co-owner, building his stake over time. Stone, president and CEO, and Fisher, vice president and COO, continue to lead the company and keep significant ownership in the business.

PPR had nearly 50 employees at the announcement. It handles re-roofing, repair and maintenance, from asphalt shingle, metal, tile and cedar shake on homes to TPO, PVC and other single-ply systems on flat and low-slope commercial buildings. Its customers include healthcare facilities, schools and colleges, manufacturing and distribution centers, and restaurants across Oregon, Northern California and Southwest Washington. Its institutional work includes a Carlisle Sure-White EPDM roof on the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Facility in Medford, the Oregon Youth Authority's New Bridge High School and facilities on the grounds of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

The company opened a Eugene branch in 2010 and later sold that location. PPR was named a Duro-Last Platinum Contractor in 2024.

The buyer

Tambr is a family-based investment group formed in 2022 to manage the capital of Mitchell Blutt and Kevin Livingston, who have spent the past 20 years as business partners and equity investors. Livingston, Tambr's co-founder and chief investment officer, became executive chairman of PPR.

Stone said Tambr's "approach combines the expertise of a private equity group with the values of a family business, making them the perfect partner for this next chapter of PPR." Livingston said of the two operators: "They have built a company the right way, prioritizing customer satisfaction through quality performance while being employee-driven and community-minded."

On June 11, 2026, PPR announced its acquisition of Evergreen Roofing of Oregon, a Eugene contractor founded in 1989 by Curtis Large, with approximately 60 employees. Evergreen continues under its own brand as part of the PPR platform. "When I reconnected with Matt, he had just completed his partnership with Tambr, and his message about their approach to keeping our businesses in the hands of local operators really resonated with me," Large said.

What this means for roofing owners

Pressure Point was not folded into an existing roofing platform. Tambr made it the platform, left Stone and Fisher running it with significant stakes, and within about three and a half months PPR was buying a Eugene contractor of its own, founded the same year.
